Intexure Architects designed this modern home at 2171 University. It will be on the 2018 AIA Houston Home Tour as one of seven architect-designed homes on tour.

One of Houston's most interesting architecture tours, the annual AIA Houston Home Tour, will open seven architect-designed homes to the public noon-6 p.m. Oct. 20-21.

The architect-designed homes can be found throughout the city and come in a range of sizes and styles -- traditional, contemporary, midcentury modern and modern. Featured architects are Cusimano Architect, Brett Zamore Design, Intexure Architects, Dillon Kyle Architects, studioMET, RD Architecture and JT ARC Studio.

Tickets for the full tour are $25 in advance (by Oct. 17) or $35 the weekend of the tour. Anyone planning to bicycle to tour homes gets a small discount, $20 or $30 on the weekend of the tour.  Children age 12 and under are $15; tickets to look at a single architect-designed home are $10.
